A fabulous array of 60's and 70's icons, costumes and designer outfits were on display on Saturday night for a celebration of all things 60's and 70's. From Mary Quant to Twiggy, the Blues Brothers to Captain Manwaring and Pike, hippies and hippy chicks, bovva boys and even Barry Sheene and Andy Pandy made an appearance.
With music purely from that era and the buffet themed to the times, everyone enjoyed a superb evening.
The fancy dress competition was keenly contested with Brian's Pike being adjudged the best, although all had made such an effort. Spot prizes were also awarded for the strangest dance and other curious activities!
Many thanks to all who were able to attend, and special thanks to DJ Neil, Jeanette for the food and various club members for organising, setting up and taking down decorations.
All moneys raised on the night will be donated to the Godden Trust.
